Recently retired from the Lubbock Fire Department, Mark spent 30 years in the fire service.  The last 12 years of his career was spent in the Training Division where he was an instructor and developer of training programs.

Mark was the organizer and serves as the Incident Commander of the South Plains Incident Management Team (SPIMT), one of eight All-Hazards Incident Management teams in Texas.  Mark is also qualified as a Resources Unit leader and serves in the Planning Section of the Lone Star State Incident Management Team.
